Treat Recipes

I can understand that some worry about the treats your are giving your little furry, as you do not know what is inside them. This section is some treat recipes for your to try at home.

Once you made treats they only last 2 to 3 day but for them to last longer you can place them in the freezer where they will last 2 to 3 months.

Oatey seeds

Ingredient:
- Sugar free cereal
- Honey
- Oats
- Seed

Steps:
1. Add seeds and oats to a bowl
2. Crush sugar free cereal into small seeds (not dust) then add to mix.
3. Drizzle honey our mix (not too much)
4. Mould into small ball
5. Preheat the oven to 375 oc
6. Leave in fridge for 15 minutes
7. Bake for 10 minutes
Banana treat
Ingredients:
- 1/4 of banana
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of raisins
- Small squirt of lemon juice

Mix all together

DO NOT GIVE THIS TO GERBILS AS THEY CANNOT HAVE RAISINS. It is safe for hamsters.
Oaty fruity bites

Ingredients:
- Oats
- Flour
- Fruit or Veg
- Water
Steps:
1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
2. Veg/fruit add with water and blend to juice
3. Add flour and oats
4. Mix until dough like
5. Bake for 10 minutes
Cakes
Ingredients:
- Hamster or gerbil food mix
- Honey
- Flour
- Oats
- Raisins (if your making for hamster)
- 1/2 of egg
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees
2. 4 tablespoons of hamster or gerbil mix
3. 2 tablespoons of oats
4. Add a few raisins (if making for hamsters)
5. Table spoon of flour
6. Add 2 teaspoons of honey
7. Add half an egg
8. Bake for 15 minutes.
Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1tsp of flour
- 1/4 tsp of milk
- 3/4 tsp of water
- vegetable oil
- Banana
Steps:
1. Mix flour, milk and water together
2. Spread oil in a pan and heat up
3. Place mixture in pan and make shapes of which size your choose.
4. Flip pancakes to make sure they are cooked on both sides.
5. Once cooked and a piece of banana of top.

If you choose you can mix in banana into the mixture to make Banana flavoured pancakes or any other types of fruit your choose.
